Chester A. Huber

Chester Huber Huber has been president of OnStar Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors, since the creation of the business in 1995, leading it from start-up to a nationally prominent brand serving millions of subscribers. He joined GM in 1972, holding numerous roles before assuming global responsibilities for sales, marketing and product support.

In 1994, Huber was the first Industrial Fellow selected by DOD to attend the National Defense University, earning a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy. He has a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute, and his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He received the distinction of "Honorary Commandant" from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Engineering degree from Kettering University.

He serves on the Board of Directors of XM Satellite Radio, and is a member of the Center for Disease Control Federal Advisory Committee Injury Prevention and Control.
